Robyn grew up playing sports in New York, and became a fitness enthusiast in her adult life when she joined an early morning boot camp while living in San Francisco after college. She fell in love with the camaraderie of her workout buddies, and the fact that everyone was crazy enough to get up at 5am to get a workout in!
After years of doing boot camp classes, she pinched a nerve in her neck, so tried Barre classes, figuring it would be low intensity. She instantly fell in love with the challenging workout, and after a year of taking classes, she was teaching them.
She enjoys making playlists and using the music to up the intensity or slow it down – the flow of her classes are challenging, but just when you think you won’t get a break, you get to stretch and it feels like the best stretch ever.
Robyn teaches Barre at THRiVE, and is certified in Rasamaya Barre, Boston Body Pilates, and CPR.
